5 reasons to sign-up to our New Slack Community: Global SaaS experts -
The version that's TL;DR of this article is this:
- We just launched a newly-created (free!) Slack community: Global SaaS Leaders.
- The program is open to the leaders of established SaaS and software-based businesses (including founders! ).
We're starting a new Slack group for free. Slack group.
Because communities are amazing!
No, seriously.
There are a lot of additional SaaS and software community out on the market. Some of them are fantastic.
We began thinking about developing the kind of community we'dlike to be a part of, we realized an opportunity to create an entirely new thing.
For that reason, we came up with Global SaaS Leaders as a space with five unique qualities:
1. Global Focus
We found many SaaS and software communities which were U.S.-based or that were based at a specific place.
Global SaaS Leaders will be distinct. They might be located within the U.S., but our clients as well as the wider SaaS community are spread throughout the world..
As we expand the group and expand our reach, we'll begin to realize the importance of the importance of creating a wide-ranging membership and an international perspective.
2. The design is geared towards leaders of established SaaS and software companies
The most popular software chats that we found on the web were around the idea of starting something completely new SaaS business:

Discussions like this are beneficial for those seeking to create the base of the foundation of a SaaS.
We found that it's hard to come across helpful discussions between leaders of well-established Software and SaaS firms.
This is the reason we've decided to create the community for SaaS leaders thinking about growing and scaling an established software business instead of building minimal viable products or seeking seed stage funding.
If you're a lifestyle business owner with a self-funded SaaS that is already generating $10,000 per month, we'd like to get you connected with other entrepreneurs similar to you.
As if you were the chief developer at a venture-backed start-up which recently crossed the $10 million mark a year.
This is the goal we will pursue on the next Global SaaS Leaders: to provide a space where you can talk about the challenges unique to SaaS when you reach the stage of market-fit for your product and start to expand.
3. Professionally moderated
It takes a dedicated and experienced moderator (or group of moderators!) to build a positive, supportive culture in a community.
We've learned a lot from watching the Reddit community, r/entrepreneur for example.
Even the most respected community like this often struggle to concentrate. The No. 1 thread this year is a combative post about how cryptocurrency is consuming the stream

Katie Stephan and Nathan Collier (authors of this post!) will be the first moderators in the launch of the Global SaaS Leaders community.
We have spent more than a decade managing online communities that have hundreds of users.
Additionally, building and launching this community is part of our jobs description.
The discussion will be focussed on SaaS and other software and we'll make sure we don't need to contend with unsolicited emails, spam as well as personal attacks. Any form of trolling.
4. It's not exclusively focused on funding or venture capital round.
No matter what your situation is, we're not concerned. financial strain, venture capital, private equity backed or some other type of ownership structure.
Global SaaS Leaders won't be a conference that is solely about exit strategies or financing strategies.
We also want to create a place that you can engage in discussions regarding hiring, revenue profits, tools, pricing models technological infrastructure and everything else that contributes to establishing the success of your software business.
There is nothing wrong with having members periodically talk about the topic of the funding. But, it shouldn't be the only topic of discussion.
5. The largest and most helpful SaaS Software community online
There are some online communities that pose as unsafe areas.
What ever you're in search of or even the country you're from We want that you feel comfortable sharing your information and engaging in our online community.
Katie and I will do everything we can to create a supportive, positive society in this brand new one. Additionally, we will not tolerate individual attacks, bigotry, the discrimination of sexuality, racism, or any other unwelcome behavior.
Our mission is nothing other than creating the most supportive SaaS as well as software-based community available on the internet.
How do I sign up to The Global SaaS Leaders Community
If you're an executive from an established SaaS firm, we'd be delighted to include you in our team!
There isn't a quick registration form, however we utilize this data to evaluate the overall quality of the community as well as to filter out potential spammers.
The FAQ is also available on the application's page that can provide answers to some of your queries.
We'd love to invite you to come along!
