As part of the Community group, we oversee The Hero Community and other community -driven initiatives as well as sources. Our goal is to assist in connecting clients across the world and empower our Heroes to achieve entrepreneurial success through community programs and resources.

What's an accomplishment in your career that you are particularly proud of?

What has your culture identity impacted your journey working in technology?

This is something I'm trying to understand my own self.

Do you celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month If so, what do they mean to you?

Not specifically AAPI Heritage Month, but as a child, I was a part of and took part in Korean heritage and cultural events that included festivals as well as other campaigns. As with many others, I've come to recognize just how crucial these kinds of occasions and cultural events can be in understanding the concept of identity and belonging.

Do you have a story to share about the event or someone that you have encountered in AAPI history that is meaningful for you?

Most meaningful would have been my parents along with the many families from the immigrant community who left themselves in search of more opportunities in other countries. It's a bit mind-blowing to look at the challenges facing the older generations in the AAPI community. Also, I have to say that I will not forget the experience Linsanity was...so thanks to Jeremy Lin!

What ways can you participate within the AAPI group?

I usually seek out community within the areas where I spend the most time. In college, I was involved heavily with KSA (the Korean Students Association) as well as at other jobs I've taken part in various AAPI focused ERGs.

What do you love about working at ?

My most favorite thing about working with is the people and the teams which I get to work with. I really appreciate the friendly and supportive atmosphere that's been developed, and witnessing the passion that exists in our products and customers is really inspiring to be part of.
