The NFTs were her first choice following an accomplished career in graphic design, in which she developed her skills creating pieces that were used in blockbuster movies like Wonder Womanand Star Trek Beyond. After turning her focus to NFTs and the PleasrDAO mission, she has seen a rise in interest in her work, including the recent DeFi (decentralized finance) animation auction that raised $525,000 that went toward the creation of the Stand With Asians Community Fund which will support AAPI causes.
Becoming an NFT Artist
It is widely regarded as one of the biggest breakthrough NFT artists. She first went on the internet in 2020 due to her DeFi virtual animations that she created as a hobby as she applied for job.
Since then the launch, it appears that she has cracked the code for visually appealing content with many in the crypto space touting her as the next generation of animation that is longform on the internet. Big things are in the near future for NFTs. Not only did she appear on an appearance on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2022, but she also recently launched a decentralized film platform, Shibuya, where she launched her first Web3 animated short, "White Rabbit."

PPLPLEASR will be sat with Hamilton-Morales to talk about all things NFTs and crypto in a SXSW session titled "NFT culture: Fostering Communities and Define The Success of the Web3 Creator Economy." The session will last 60 minutes on Tuesday, March 15 in the evening at 4pm Central Time at The Austin Marriott Downtown and will include a 45-minute conversation followed by a 15 minute Q&A.
Specific topics that will be discussed during the event include finding success as an NFT artist and what the next generation of the digital creator economy will look like. Hamilton-Morales and pplpleasr will be discussing the culture and values of NFTs and how they're likely transform the creative industry in the years ahead. We're hoping to see you there!
