Art collages are available on the CreativeMindClass Blog
In the afternoon of Sunday, I discovered Olga sharing Instagram posts about my neighborhood from childhood. In the middle of Warsaw's concrete jungle, there is a lesser-known, holy green space. I used to go there in the summer to stare at the beautiful pine trees and breathe in the fresh air of fresh air inside my urban airways. In her tale, Olga visited this area for the first time but she also got mesmerized by one of the longest backyards of Warsaw. It is my bet she will create an inspired Boernerowo painting.

We asked Olga about her process for creating her minimalist collages and artworks of human-shaped landscapes.
"My name is Olga Szczechowska, and I'm living in Warsaw. From the time I was a youngster, I've been painting and drawing plenty. I was a student at the art high school, and was a student of Painting and Cultural Studies at the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun.

I'm an illustrator, painter occasionally graphic designer. Through my work, I concentrate on the connection between nature and humans, carefully observing the way we create nature in our own backyards. By looking at trimmed hedges as well as decorative plants and meticulously designed home gardens I'm trying to capture the strange environment that surrounds us."

"For many years, I've made minimalist collages. The compositions are inspired by landscapes, still-life, or were developed as a result from experimentation with forms, textures and colors.

My work is diverse because painting and collages are very different, but they do have something that is common to both: they calm. I've heard the term "soothing" from my audience many times and believe that it best describes the nature of my art. When I'm tired of painting, I make collages. The reverse is also true. A certain style can be a brief getaway from the different.

I believe that being aware is essential. I am attentive to all around me: nature, architecture, and objects. All this is reflected in my artwork. In my works, you do not see a person, but you are able to feel the human beings in hedges that have been cut or in a mug that is left at the end of the dining table."
