Louise Cherry Barber: Danica You are Our Springie Award Winner for our Q3 of 2023! So please tell me what does it mean for you to receive this Springie Award here at ?
Danica Larsen:It is really satisfying and, like, really touching to realize that I had bring a bit of myself -- my interesting personality throughout my day. It was also nice to see that other people knew about it and was greeted and appreciated in a positive way and it wasn't just due to achieving a certain number, which is previously the way I was identified, or other workplaces I've been to, but for the kind of person I am as well as the achievements that I've done outside of just one dedicated number. It was very nice being recognized as a person. I found that really heartwarming.
Louise Cherry Barber: It's amazing and merited. Another thing I'm fascinated by is for you to talk about certain highlights like the stories you heard, but even specifically, the work that you performed on the benchmarking project has been praised by some individuals. Could you talk to us something about it?
Danica Larsen:Yes, I put into my work so hard that I'm really happy to be being recognized. I'm a little bit surprised to find that the benchmarking program is one of the items that has been praised in the sense that we're in the early stages of the process, and there's still a lot of work to do. And I'm super jazzed to see that people are enthusiastic about the initiative. Since it's likely to bring so much value, I truly hope that it will bring so lots of value not only for us as a company as well, but also for our customers, our sellers, as well. And we'll help in an ideal world give the company some insight on the best ways to grow in the in the long run, and which we've observed works in the long run as a successful idea. So seeing that called out already at the first sort of, you know, such as beta stage was exciting, since it indicates that others are seeing the benefits as well.
Louise Cherry Barber: We recently updated our corporate values to include: Be Different by educating yourself and Act with Urgency. I'm curious about your opinions on these new values.
Danica Larsen What they are is doing what's right as well as understanding what doing"right" means. This means investigating, looking into that, and acting quickly and making a decision. That's what I do. by that every day... and taking a look at other employees who are part of members of the Support Team and the Support Team is a sign that they share the same values with our customers, as well as with our buyers each day. They're at the forefront, the front field looking for understanding and executing quickly, because that's part of if they cannot perform those tasks. We fall apart as business, no one will continue to work with us.
Louise Cherry Barber:What suggestions would you give to those on the other side ? Do you think anyone would want to follow the values? What advice do you have about how you can make them manifest?
Danica Larsen: It's only me -- you know, I speak only from my perspective. But I think the key aspect is to listen as much as is possible. When you're working with the different accounts, the businesses, the sellers, everybody who we work with, knowing their requirements, and understanding the motivation behind it, that determines what we can do and how we should act. That's "seeking understanding" that achieve it without being attentive. That's my pro tip number one simply to be listening to the people around you.
