In the beginning in the twentieth century, clever small rhymes became popular. Many of the best-known clerihews are made with some genuineness, but absurdity doesn't have the same effect on an emotional level.
Clerihews can be used as exercises to stimulate your imagination. Jokes can be hilarious and clear, or a bit hazy, it's up to you. If it makes you consider it , or even makes you smile, then the joke is done well.
What is what is a Clerihew?
They are usually meant to be funny towards individuals. Therefore, clerihews may be described as humorous or just plain funny. They are also described as funny and irreverent. Quatrains are four line poems that use the AABB Rhyming Scheme. They were written by the poet Edmund Clerihew Bentley, described them in terms of "baseless biographical sketches" and that's also the title of his collection number three, which released in 1939.
The year 1905 was also the first year that Bentley published a book with his own writings. Biography was an intro to the subject for newcomers. The name the book was published under was E. Clerihew. It also contained illustrations by his acquaintance G. K. Chesterton. That's why they're often known as Clerihews, not bentleys.

After that, Bentley went to Oxford to study law. When he graduated in Oxford having a law degree, Bentley was determined to work in journalism, returning to work. In addition, he composed poetry and newspaper articles. Furthermore to that, he wrote a variety of short stories which included a best-selling detective novel, The last Case(1913) which was published in 1913. This was later followed by the novel The Trent's Personal Case in 1936. The novel was written by Warner Allen, and Trent intersperses in 1938. The novel contains stories of detectives.
Clerihew Day
Each year on July 10th, E.C. Bentley's birthday is celebrated by the name of National Clerihew Day. Although there are no fireworks nor special foods but it is possible to mark the occasion by writing a poem for clerihew or your own.

What are the things you must Write for a Clerihew
1. Choose an area
Clerihews usually focus on one person, however, they don't need to be specifically about one person. The first line contains or an individual's name who is that is the subject of discussion.
In this case, one could write a work which is centered around ObiWan Kenobi's character, in addition to a true character, for instance, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, or an alternative as a biographical.

2. It's as easy as it gets! AABB
There's only one rule of thumb and quick common sense: AABB couplets. Two lines rhyme. Two lines that follow rhyme.
3. Find a way of getting an idea across
The second line lays out the concept and provides clarification on a specific aspect of the subject. The second line must rhyme with the original line. The rhyme does not have to be true or even be rational.

The third and fourth lines give an extra dimension of premise similar to the joke's punchline. The lines must be rhymed, but they don't have to be a rhyme with the previous two phrases.
