Amigurumi Jellyfish Designs
Similar to how you follow a design for the perfect hat or sweater it is necessary to have a pattern when understanding how to crochet the jellyfish. The pattern provides instructions for rows-by-row, so you can be certain that the final piece will be exactly as the images.

Yarn
Choose two different shades of worsted weight yarn. Worsted weight lies in the middle of the yarn weight scale that ranges from the smallest value of 0 (fine) to seven (jumbo). You should see the word "worsted" across the skein of yarn; in the absence of it, search for the number 3 or 4.
Yarn Needle
The yarn needle to sew the tentacles onto the body of the jellyfish. Knitting needles are large and sharp with a huge eye to accommodate yarn instead of sewing thread.
Stuffing
To keep jellyfish in its shape, it will need to be stuffed. You can purchase fiberfill stuffing in a local craft store, or be creative and use the materials that you have in your possession for stuffing, including cloth scraps, cotton balls or even cloth. For the most effective result, use a cluster fiber stuffing, which keeps its form even after washing it in the machine.
Eyes for Safety
This is a great, yet an optional addition to the jellyfish. The safety eyes add an extra dimension to the face of your jellyfish. You can purchase it for a couple of dollars on the web or in any craft shop.
How do you crochet a Jellyfish
Step 1: Start your exercise routine.
In the following row, make each row longer. This means that you'll add two single crochets per stitch until you get to the point at which you've completed the row. With this technique this will increase the width of the fabric. This allows you to achieve the look of a jellyfish's head. Continue to follow your pattern until you're ready to alter the shades.
Step 2: Change Colors
Step 3: Add Details
When the jellyfish's body is finished, it's time to include the eyes. Attach safety eyes on the rear of the body, spacing them about 10 stitches apart. Attach the eyes using safety washers , both on the inside and outside.
Step 4: Complete and complete the Jellyfish Body
At this point the pattern is likely to indicate a series of decreases until you eventually have a small hole at the base of your jellyfish. You can take small pieces of fiberfill, and then place them inside the jellyfish, forming and shaping the body during the process. By stuffing it a bit, you allows it to be able to withstand multiple washes. But make sure you don't overfill it to the point that your eyes start to expand.
Once the jellyfish is correctly stuffed, move on to the rows that decrease and then close the top. After that, you can weave the tail of the yarn inside the body.
Step 5: Attach Tentacles
Then, you can create a variety of tentacles. Some are straight and long, some thick and wavy while others form a tight spiral. There are any number you want and in any design that you prefer. The straight tentacles are fairly straightforward to construct, but to create spirals you need to crochet in a sequence of crochets (e.g. 5 half-double crochets) followed by one stitch.
Once your tentacles have been constructed, connect them to the body of the jellyfish with the help of a yarn needle.
