Five compelling reasons to join our brand new Slack community: Global SaaS Leaders ---
The version that's in the TL;DR section of this article reads as follows:
- The company just unveiled a new (free!) Slack community: Global SaaS Leaders.
- This job opportunity is open to senior executives from established SaaS and software companies (including founders! ).
We're launching a brand new, Slack-based community for free.
Because communities are amazing!
No, seriously.
Sure, there are more SaaS as well as software-based communities available. Certain of them are great.
We began thinking about developing the kind of community that uslike to be part of, we realized that there was a chance to design something totally new.
In this regard, we created Global SaaS Leaders as a space with five unique qualities:
1. Global Focus
We found a wide range of SaaS and software-based communities which included communities that were U.S.-based or focused on a specific area.
Global SaaS Leaders will be diverse. It could be The U.S., but our customers and the wider SaaS community are spread around the globe..
When we build the community, we'll be conscious of fostering a variety of members and an international perspective.
2. Created to serve the most senior executives of long-standing SaaS and software companies.
The most interesting software conversations we found online revolved around the idea of starting the creation of a completely new SaaS business:

These discussions are helpful for those looking to begin developing an SaaS.
We observed that it is very difficult to find helpful discussions between leaders from long-established companies, including software or SaaS companies.
That's why we've decided to form the community of SaaS entrepreneurs who are thinking about the expansion and growth of the growth of their established software business instead of building the minimal viable products or seeking the seed stage of financing.
If you're a life-long entrepreneur with a self-funded SaaS that is already generating $10,000 per month, we'd love to meet others with similar businesses to yours.
This is also true in the case of the director of development of a venture-backed business that just crossed the threshold of $10 million a year.
This is the goal we'll pursue at the forthcoming Global SaaS Leaders: to offer a platform where lets you share your views regarding the specific challenges that face your industry after you achieve product-market fit and start to grow.
3. Professionally moderated
It is the work of a determined and skilled moderator (or team of moderators!) to create a positive and friendly culture within a group.
We've learned lots from our experience with Reddit community, for example.
However, even communities with high-quality amenities like this one sometimes have trouble focusing. It's intriguing that it's the No. most popular thread for the year is an angry post on how cryptocurrency's rise is dominating the newsfeed

Katie Stephan and Nathan Collier (authors of this article!) will be the first moderators at the time we launch with the Global SaaS Leaders community.
Collectively, we've spent over 10 years managing online communities that have many thousands of users.
as well as the creation and launch of the community is a part of our job descriptions.
The discussion will be solely focused on SaaS and other software and we'll make sure that your customers don't deal with spam, unwelcome emails, and trolling, or any other form of harassment.
4. Does not specifically focused on funding or venture capital round.
It doesn't matter whether you're bootstrapped, venture-funded, private-equity supported, or another arrangement of ownership.
World SaaS Leaders isn't a place with a major focus on financing rounds and exit plans.
Instead, we hope to create a forum in which you can talk about revenue, hiring and profitability tools and pricing strategies, technological infrastructure and everything associated with creating a profitable software company.
It's okay for members to occasionally discuss financing. But it won't be the only conversation.
5. The most helpful SaaS and software community anywhere online
Certain online communities can be dangerous places.
Whatever you're looking for or where you're from or what you've experienced is, we'd love for you to be comfortable sharing your ideas and taking part in our discussion forum.
Katie me along with Katie we will do all that we can in order to establish an inclusive, positive atmosphere within the community we have created. Additionally, we'll not stand against personal attacks or sexism, racism, bigotry, or any other disrespectful behaviour.
Our mission is no greater than to create the most supportive SaaS and software community available online.
How do I sign up to the Global SaaS Leaders Community
If you're a leader at an established SaaS firm, we'd love to include you in our network!
It's not a short application form, but we employ it to evaluate the overall quality of the community and also to identify potential spammers.
There's also a FAQ on the application page that might be able to answer your questions.
We'd love to invite you to join us!
