Implementing Revisions to existing courses Revisions to Existing Courses

ELearning is not a one-and-done effort. Once a course has been created and published is the first step of a long-term relationship.
Changes to course material could occur in two ways: piece by piece or at scheduled intervals.
Every successful venture requires a plan, which is the reason I believe regular intervals of time is the best approach to update material.
The term "review" is not meant to refer to reviewing of material. That should be done regularly so that you can capture the latest updates and put them in a central repository for the planned changes.
Below are some of the general things that you must do for your revision project:
Definition of Scope:Before beginning the revision procedure, it is important to be clear about the scope of revisions (as any good project should do).
Define the Roles:Each function within the project must be defined. Everything from the manager to the individual who actually makes the change.
Consolidate RevisionsThere should be one central document which manages all revisions. It is important to clearly define the revision's location and prioritizing it as well as the degree of difficulty as well as the person who is responsible for it, and when it is due.
Clear Deadlines:Revisions should be given deadlines based on their importance and the complexity.
Command Chain:Every revision should have someone or a team who is responsible for signing-off on the revision.
