The family is a creative one, including illustrator as well as artist Kentaro Yoshida. His mom, who is also an artist has an influence on his work , even when she was not happy with his decisions regarding his art. "First she was not the greatest admirer of me being full-time as an artist. I believe she understood the issues that arose from her own experiences. Yet, I made efforts and managed to make it," Kentaro says. "She is my primary source of inspiration."

Kentaro is the son of the town of Toyama, a fishing village in the southern part of Toyama, Japan, but relocated to Australia when he reached the age of at 18 and it is here that he currently lives in Sydney. From there, he's developed an impressive freelance part-time job as an artist. Prints can be purchased and he also offers customized painting boards, murals and collaboration with the top musicians and companies.
