We delved deep into the subject through bringing in three artists to discuss :
Gunnar Freyr, photographer and entrepreneur
Frauke Hameister Creative and photographer
Samuel Sparrow, maker and potter
Learn how three artists chose the works they've created from their portfolios that they want to display on their websites and the way they created their web presence to reflect their aesthetic and work as well as how their websites have helped them grow their career as professionals in the field of creative who work full time.
Choosing what work to share on your website
The three creators concentrate on distinct aspects of the user experience audience when deciding what they'll showcase on their website. Gunnar is one instance of this. The site is seeking to offer the viewers a variety of options and remain faithful to the content he developed.
"Most of the traffic to my website comes through social media. This is why I don't try to convince people that I'm too involved with what I'm sharing on my social media channels," he says. "My primary objective is to make it pertinent to the type of projects I'd love to participate in and in addition, the ones I'm most proud of. It will feel pertinent to my followers and potential clients, and even for people who are just starting out."
