Limit access time to the products to form cohorts, leverage trial periods, increase engagement, and much more.

The setting of time limitations for your customers accessing products is a an excellent tool to have within your creator's toolbox.

The constraints on time can motivate consumers to complete their purchase, like completing a course. They also give you more control over customer service to do things like offer the opportunity to try a trial-only product or set up cohort programs.

Through's access duration feature , you can now decide how long customers are allowed to use certain items (excluding bundles and community plans).

Here are some suggestions for what you can do by using this feature.

You can restrict access to your courses for only 90 days (as also establishing a particular start day ) to establish quarterly or "semester" cohorts

Create a seven-day trial offer to a class

motivate customers to save a digital download within five days after purchase

offer limited-time webinars and workshops that are replayed

We offer different pricing options with lifetime or limited access to a product.

access duration on product

Example: The developer provides no cost 30 days of access to a digital download for the holiday season for customers

The setting of a duration limit for access can also allow customers to purchase multiple times of the same product. It's now easy for your clients to buy a second course (student progress will be saved) or book repeat coaching sessions .

What is the duration of access to products? function?

You can set up access duration limits by going to the Availability tab of the product you are selling, and then click Editon Durationthen inputting the amount of time that you would like customers to have access to your product.

The customers will be able to access the service for the designated amount of time and then their access or enrollment will expire. They'll receive an email 7 days before the expiration date to give them a heads-up.

If you decide to show Duration on your site pages, customers will see how long they'll have access to your site (you'll find this setting in the Banner , Featured or Products pages of the editor for your site).
