From the time when I was a child, I've been drawn to paint, and play with my hands. This has always been my most natural method for me to express my feelings. However, growing as a child in Taiwan and in Taiwan, having an artistic career was looked down upon as a way to make money, and I was frequently instructed by my parents to learn the more practical aspects of art in order to avoid ending in the streets starving to death.

My mom has always encouraged me to do whatever I wanted to do and was willing to do everything she could to assist me reach my goals. After coming back in the United States and graduating high school, I decided that I would like to pursue art as profession.

What would you say about your personal style?

I am still on the journey to finding a fashion that I'm able to claim as my unique. I am prone to be drawn to trying new things every so often... One month, I'll be drawn to doing very colorful things, soon I'll try my hand at more naturalistic colors; I'll be really into a shape car style for a few months and then, in the next day, I'll become bored and would like to experiment with something that's more based on forms.

In other instances, I'll combine two things are intriguing to me, to make it seem like I'm in the endless journey of discovery and discover. But after dabbling a little in a few places I'm starting to realize that there are certain patterns, shapes, and colors that I am drawn to. Perhaps this is the start of a design style?

What are the most important things to consider when creating your illustration?

I like to make sketches of topics that interest me or am interested in and then add my own twist to the subject.

Most importantly, I love having fun. It is my opinion that having fun is essential to creating something and viewers will be able to tell if a creator had pleasure making something... the extra sparkle.
