Although e-learning has its merits, it still can be very boring.

The majority of us have been on a path which seems to never end but with little (or even no) involvement with the course.

It doesn't have to be like that.

Instructors can include some points of engagement in even the shortest of elearning lessons to "spice it up".

Although something may be achieved doesn't necessarily mean it's not always feasible. If you're too over-exaggerating with triggers that are based on engagement, the information you share may actually lose value.

Engagement Ideas For Your Courses

Give points when completing certain activities. Grant learners points for completing certain elements of the curriculum. Students can "cash into" by accumulating points (for instance, unlocking the brand new course).

Request learners to share their experiences in a lesson. You can leverage a forum to allow learners to share their incident which is connected to the content.

Develop games that are smaller using flashcards or other hot-spots. Many programs allow users to create small games that connect to content. Flashcards and matching games can be set up easily and will help your student to think about their subject matter differently.
