The new science of bioism: the science of living organisms CreativeMindClass Blog - The CreativeMindClass Blog

"I come from my home country of Soviet Union in what is currently Ukraine. I loved to draw as young; I received several awards. After high-school I went on to pursue a degree in economics. However, I was not content with having to work full-time in an uninteresting, filthy office. Therefore, I decided to take a look at the field of art seriously. This led me into the course taught by Konrad Klapheck at the Art Academy in Dusseldorf. After that, I continued to study under Shirin Neshat at the Art Academy of Salzburg."

"Making artwork for me is an important method of creating amazing, imagined worlds.

The alien-like visuals, the unnatural feelings and shapes - that is what I like to imagine and visualize. At the beginning of my life just like everybody else began to explore all the things that surrounded me, but very soon was dissatisfied with my interpretation of some of the most widely-known information regarding visuals.

The desire to make every possible variation and artefact of unknown origin motivated me to develop completely unique universes."

What would you say about your style of art?

"Bioism. Biofuturism. Paradise Engineering. Bioethical Abolitionism. My day-to-day reflection and quote is:

Biofuturism or Bioism is an attempt to develop new living organisms as well as a contemporary aesthetic to the future of biological life. Bioism is an approach to develop art objects which express visual possibilities of the synthetic biology. Bioism is a method to create art that is based on energy, variety and complexity. I regard each of my artworks as living things. Bioism is a way to bring life back to uninteresting subject matter.
Personally, I am convinced that in the near-term following the bio revolution and the rise of living furniture, we'll have living furniture, live in living houses, and even travel to the outer space using living stations. However, the most fascinating aspect is the ability for artists to design living creatures, creating new ways of living. Expression through art will have the feeling of actually being created. The fantastical could be the reactions of an art object to its maker and the surrounding environment. The art museums in the future might change into zoological park galleries that could become new diversification funds, and ateliers to bio-labs.
Bioism is the movement that aims in the direction of creating new and infinite kinds of life in the entire universe. Paradise engineering is the epitomization of bioethics using new methods ...

The manifesto , I am of the opinion that it will never be finished, since I am myself a living process that is currently working on finalizing the issues."

What's the secret to making your installations?

"I attempt to steer away from the usage of primitive geometrics, which means no straight lines, or none whatsoever, as much as can be conceivable. I'm trying to find the collision between the Micro and the macro on a daily schedule.

Anything unknown or overly complicated is instantly recognized by our inner eye as living or organic. Biology is the largest and intricate information structure in the universe."

A church can be a formal setting. Do you feel pressured to create the most of this place?

"It depends on your individual desires, burdens that are hidden or the degree to which you are in your understanding of your place within the human race. For me, I'm almost zero knowledge of the concept of space, time and the wonders they bring. So when I go to the church, I feel like a curious child with a huge and bizarre playing area with the purpose of communicating.

It is my goal to be respectful of the art. However I do not forget its enjoyable aspect, which is speaking with a god. It's similar as an XXL booth. While listening or talking it's possible to be hilarious as well."

What percentage of you are in control of the production process and how much is biological?

"Controlling chaos can be an extremely challenging endeavor. My eyes and ear are always trying to hear the possible unknown tune, in search of a new form that speaks to me and touches my imagination nerve. It's not just a one way process where you're a miner: finding the most interesting minerals and throwing away the wasted opportunities in your face. To me, this isn't an ideal option.

My passions often are entwined alongside other potentials minor for a not-so-pleasant melody, but also a deviative revelation also. One of the most satisfying aspect of my work is creating a fresh universe while thinking about how it should to be. Sometimes you're asleep, and others it takes place at night, while you sleep. In reality, the more I create my own world and the more pleasures I am able to experience. Chaos is my partner in the growth of bioism."

Are you an artist that enjoys what you do or gain some other benefit from it? Do you enjoy meditation, or communicating with your more vulnerable side?

"Drawing time is contemplation time. In addition, I draw when I learn about myself and realize the ways in which I can be amazed by myself and how my universe may amaze me, which includes all possible activities on this strange pathway. It's sometimes funny certain, however sometimes, if I'm feeling more than happy, I venture out outside and make an impression."

How did you get to bioism? What was your first step prior to making the change?

"The first steps were rather normal: I remember how happy I was about my half-drawing-half-painting of the tractor in the field for which I was praised in kindergarten.

In the following years, I was infatuated by landscapes that I would lay in the lawn for hours at a time and try to sketch nature's movements on the cardboard. Then I made many portraits. However, I was dissatisfied and bored by the dullness of any reproduced human face (including videos and photos) that's why I ended my. At that point, the egg's shell was broken and I emerged as an octopus (or Godzilla). This means I became more attuned to the reality of being. What exactly is it? This isn't to define the present one, but rather to create the new one. That was the day that I began to create of my bioethics, bioism and bioethics."

While browsing your IG I was thinking that Bioism might be interested in homelessness and homelessness throughout LA...

"But there was a different account that there was no snow in the streets, and people who were lonely, to touch every person they could listen to the Christmas tale of the newborn bioism and play with the blue baby of it.

The grim poverty that is apparent on the beach of Hollywood could trigger a completely new approach. I'm trying to consider the philosophical implications of bioism meeting with hypothetical Diogenes of Venice."
