The doctorate in exercise physiology and conducting studies that is peer-reviewed, and instructing Olympians along with professional Ironman athletes were not sufficient to Dr. Dan Plews. Furthermore, he's an individual athlete and the record holder for the year 2018 Ironman Age Group World Championship Course Winner record holder. His record was 8:24.36. In the aftermath of his win and his training along with his understanding of the topic the racer was met with numerous inquiries, mainly regarding eating low-carbohydrate diets aswell for its application in triathlons which have more long distances. This is how Professor. Plews took the choice to profit from his expertise through the EndureIQ and added the designation of 'knowledge creator' on his list of occupations. Let's examine his journey.

This interview has been slightly edited to increase clarity.

Coaching soon was followed by the development of courses

In the beginning, Dr. Plews began with a direct approach to coaching. He knew the possibilities he had by conducting one-on-one consultations.

The year was 2019, and Endure IQ was created. "I was asked numerous questions and ideas which I decided to design the course. At first, I thought "Oh I'll make an easy white course which can be made on PowerPoint'. At the end of the day I spoke to an experienced friend who told me that, if it's your choice to do this, you should be sure to do it right.'"

There are currently four courses which make up the core as well as other smaller courses. Professor of the department, Dr. Plews says, "Our main courses are comprised of 10 courses that take between 10 and 15 hours of education. Students have access to our classes over a period of 12-weeks. In addition, they are able to talk to the instructors." They also have the approval of affiliated associations such as USA Triathlon, the American College of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as USA Triathlon.

The courses start

EndureIQ launched a pre-launch of the LDT One-on-1 Course. "We declared that we would limit it to the 50 first people who signed up and the course launched in under 30 minutes." "The Dr. Plews recalls.

The classes were extremely popular! But the reaction was massive. Professor. Plews instantly realized that his students wanted access to course material along with the web-based webinars that were run by his instructors once they had completed the course.

He was faced with the problem of needing to continue providing assistance. Here are his views about the issue:

"I have decided to not provide the course at forever, since it will provide the students with the opportunity of asking questions for all the time they like. Today's demands are high, which is not what education is about. For an undergraduate student, who takes a class, you have access to experts instructors, teachers and professors during the course. You're however not permitted to have the experts answer questions throughout the course of your academic career."

Earning revenue

Then  the The. Plews discovered a way to satisfy the needs of his customers, in along with earning revenue recurring by using the same material used in his classes. He created a weekly five-dollar subscription which gives students to access course material as well as webinars to students who completed the class.

"I joined this program almost instantly. This is a great choice since there's an abundance of people who've returned," the man says.

The price is set to be not less than five dollars per month. This will be inclusive of every course which students' finished to allow him to reward loyal students who have completed numerous courses. Dan claimed that he was able to accommodate 175 students as members of the group at the time of the meeting. Thus, Dan is capable of earning an impressive sum of money every week, by giving access to the resources necessary for the class, and being able to answer the questions.

Subscription revenue opens doors

Subscriptions can generate income. This in turn creates further opportunities for businesses.

The Dr. Plews says, "The biggest benefit to subscription models is the capacity to make more informed decision-making for business. You are assured of more revenues, and also be informed about the staff that you're recruiting and where you're investing the money into because it's less risky. As opposed to being completely dependent on new sales, it's impossible to know the month most likely to bring in."

Additionally, being member of a group with a lot of participation is another advantage that provides him with an active community of individuals who can help him discover new courses or any other pertinent comments.

But, Dan realizes that there is a way to sustain an active group of members. "The drawbacks come from the fact that they're always on," he says "There is a significant amount of customer support which is provided through subscription models since members constantly have questions."
